GURGAON: The ‘Tech No Logic’ team from Genesis Global School won the national championship at the inaugural F1 in Schools India, which was held at the Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. Amity International School, Saket and The British School finished as the runners-up. 19 winners were also announced in different categories.

Over 50 schools and more than 700 students from across the country experienced the Grand Saga of National Finals 2017-18 in a STEM challenge run by Time of Sports. On the occasion, Dr. Hanif Qureshi, the Commissioner of Faridabad, who was present the chief guest of the event, appreciated the efforts of the school children.
In this phase of speed, thrill & technology advancement, Meerut’s Dewan Public School recorded the fastest speed with .918 seconds to cover the 25m track.

The team of Genesis Global School said that it was a very fun and memorable experience. This competition gave them the opportunity to present their skills on a global platform and was a great learning experience which will help them in the future projects. The Genesis Global School will represent India in the F1 in Schools World Finals to be held in Singapore later this year.

F1 in Schools is the world’s largest STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) based technology challenge and requires students to design, build and race a miniature F1 car. Part of the F1 in Schools showcase was the Pit Booths, which featured live demonstrations by students and a chance for visitors to see how the cars are designed, manufactured and tested.
